Drops

When the rain hits my skin
it is like a lover's touch.
My eyes are opened to the spectrum of colors
that fill this world with abundant life.

I inhale and exhale
with every drop of hydrogen and oxygen
that collides with my body,
composing a symphony of sounds
that are in perfect harmony.

This is what I love!

To stop and listen
for this moment in nature.
Experiencing each morsel of water
burst with energy,
later to be reincarnated into vapor
upon the sight of the sun.
