Step by step

So i went for a walk this past Friday and forgot my camera (that thing should be attached to my hip haha). Well really i didn't go walking to take photos but rather to enjoy the nice weather/sunset but everywhere i looked, there was a potential photograph! I made a point to go walking the next day WITH my camera and here are a few of my favs....in black & white....i liked them better that way.

My poem: Time Flies

Gliding through the fields,
abundant with experiences,
planted in nurtured soil,
I gaze towards the memories
from the past harvest.

Now closing my eyes,
I soar over the present,
where the wind is still,
cradling me so gently,
beneath the wings of my life.

But I lose sight of what’s ahead,
and begin to approach the future.
Stopping in mid-air,
I realize I’m not ready
to take flight just yet.

Yes, I photographed my car wash....and i think i'm the first one to do so haha. But you know we all love car washes so i'm just doing my part in the world....enjoy the pictorial experience! :)

Busy days

All work and no play doesn't keep the doctor away.....especially when i'm around kids all day! Please let this cold go away! :-/

So i haven't posted anything new in while cuz these 3 year olds in my pre-school class take all the energy outta me and by the time i get home, all i wanna do is eat and then sleep haha.

But i'll post some more photos and stuff soon....i'm off to work! :)

For someone who didn't have a camera until the spring of 07, I think i've really found my niche....who knew, I sure didn't! But it has been a great year of taking photos....i'm excited to see what other photos i'll take this year! :)

Ahhhh/yayyy to music overload! I have SO much new music....it's both excessive and amazing haha! And i'm proud of myself because most of it isn't what other ppl are listening to (well maybe other than my bro) so it's cool.

Wow, it's April!

First off, time is zooming past us....I remember making a post welcoming March and that seems like just yesterday! And now it's April....time is just as busy as we are! :)

Second, I'm realizing more that sometimes i gotta do what i have to do, so that i can do what i want to do.....basically, you gotta do what you gotta do but keep your eyes on the prize!

I will always know what i want to do but in order to get to that point I will have to do the necessary things. They won't always be as ideal or as quick as i would like but really, it's all about the journey not the destination!

Appreciate your journey more because destinations are fulfilled and then new ones are made. But the journey truly holds the knowledge and experiences.
